Outdoor News Publications and Rapala Partner for 43rd Annual Contest

Outdoor News Inc., publisher of locally written fishing and hunting outdoor newspapers in seven Great Lake States, together with Rapala, the world’s largest manufacturer of fishing lures and other fishing related products, invite anglers to share their photos of fish landed using a Rapala lure for the annual contest.
The longstanding partnership between Outdoor News and Rapala started 43 years ago with the contest first appearing in the Minnesota Outdoor News flagship newspaper, and has since expanded to include the Outdoor News publications in Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, and Illinois.
Through the contest, anglers are encouraged to submit a photo of themselves with fish caught on Rapala lures during the 2014 season. Winning entries are selected weekly, and will have their photo published in Outdoor News as well as taking home a selection of Rapala prizes including lures and a Rapala Fish ‘N Fillet Knife.
