Fremont Knives Releases Versatile Farson Hatchet

Fremont Knives has introduced another revolutionary piece of cutlery for outdoor survival and big game hunting, the Farson Hatchet. This lightweight hatchet  (9.6 oz) can be used as a skinning knife, a conventional hatchet and also be used like a splitting wedge.  The “D” shaped head, similar to the Farson Blade now has an integrated handle for some serious work.  This allows for chopping branches or fine shaving work by choking up on the head of the blade, using the hand opening in the blade.

Now available to anyone who needs to be prepared for outdoor activities, this very compact Farson Hatchet, made from 1095 High Carbon Steel with a black Titanium Nitrite coating is a real work horse in extreme environments.  At 9.5” X 3” X 1/4” it is compact enough to fit on a belt or in a pack.

The handle is wrapped with 12 feet of 550 lb. paracord, invaluable in many wilderness or survival situations.    MSRP for the Farson Blade Survival Tool is $69.99, includes a nylon sheath with hard plastic inserts, a belt loop and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
