Elite Shooters Storm First Leg of IBO Triple Crown in Bedford
Levi Morgan Tops the Podium
Elite Archery’s Shootability is proven once again during the 1st Leg of the 2014 I.B.O. Triple Crown National Championship held May 16-18, with a huge win posted by Elite Pro Shooter Levi Morgan who took top honors shooting his 70lb, signature lime green Energy 35. Meanwhile adding another layer of triumph, Elite’s Men’s Pro Team was not to be outdone, setting an impressive bar with a Second Place team finish.
Hosted by White River Bowhunters, the 4H Fairgrounds in Bedford, IN proved to be the perfect setting for Elite’s top shooters to add to their resumes. Posting tremendous scores and running parallel to perennial team favorites Elite’s shooters displayed that Elite’s calling of bow Shootability is a continued ticket to success, not only in the woods, but on the tournament trail.
From the start, Levi Morgan vaulted to the top of the score sheet shooting an impressive 212 with 12 elevens after the first day to lead the field. Levi followed day one and continued to lead the field on day two, shooting 205 with 9 elevens to a final score of 417 with 21 elevens – five points ahead of the next closest competitor and a dominating win in the Men’s Pro Division. The Elite Men’s Pro Team comprised of Levi Morgan, Darrin Christenberry, Adam Hayden and Eric Griggs displayed their extensive individual and collective talents to make a hard run at the Team win finishing in a close second place with a total score of 1207!
