College Anglers Rewarded by Sponsors at BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship

College bass fishing continues to grow led by the efforts of the Association of Collegiate Anglers and it was never more evident than at the sponsor banquet and registration at last night’s 9th BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship which is the marquee event of the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series.
The event held at the Marriott Shoals in Florence, Alabama featured over 20 industry companies all who we’re on hand providing product and information on various programs and services. The end result was college anglers from as far away as Canada all carrying bags of goodies out of the event for usage on the water in the future.
The anglers were also treated to a dinner, interaction with the sponsors and half a dozen touring pros as well as raffle prizes before being entertained and educated by the nights key note speaker Fishing Pro Skeet Reese who was on hand to support Ranger Boats at the event.
As always Skeet didn’t disappoint in talking to the college anglers about a wide range of subjects from what not to eat the night before fishing to how to prepare for a life in the industry.
Day One action kicks off at 7:00 AM at McFarland Park with the takeoff and the weigh in begins at 3:00 PM also at McFarland Park.
