Meridian Cabela’s Customer Wins $5,000 Shopping Spree

Cabela’s, the World’s Foremost Outfitter of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, announced yesterday afternoon that Timi Johnston of Meridian won the annual Spring Great Outdoor Days $5,000 Shopping Spree.

Cabela’s Spring Great Outdoor Days celebration features a variety of fun interactive activities for the entire family and is widely regarded as, “Idaho’s Official Kickoff to Spring.”

“We are thrilled to present this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to Timi,” said Chris Dominguez, Boise Cabela’s General Manager. “We couldn’t be happier for her and her family and look forward to being a part of this amazing event.”

Johnston, a passionate angler, food processer and griller, won’t have any trouble putting her prize to good use at the Boise retail store. “I’ve already got my eye on a new slicer and grinder for my husband,” said Johnston. “I’m sure I’ll have no problem coming up with a list!”

Johnston’s shopping spree will take place on Wednesday, May 28th at 2pm. She will be accompanied by her family as well as several Cabela’s Personal Shoppers.
