Flambeau Hires Chris Gurreri as President of Retail Markets and Packaging Group

Chris Gurreri to be Responsible for Profit and Growth Performance
Flambeau is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Gurreri to the position of President of Retail Markets and Packaging Group. In this capacity, Mr. Gurreri will be responsible for the profit and growth performance of Flambeau’s many retail brands (including ArtBin, Duncan Toys, Flambeau Hardware and Flambeau Outdoors) and Flambeau’s Packaging Solutions Division. Mr. Gurreri will report directly to CEO of Flambeau and Nordic Group of Companies, Mr. Jason Sauey. Business unit leaders for the corresponding sales divisions will report to Mr. Gurreri.
On Chris Gurreri’s appointment as President of Retail Markets and Packaging Group, Jason Sauey, CEO of Flambeau and Nordic Group of Companies, comments, “Chris is a very energetic leader and passionate about brand building and product development. Mr. Gurreri brings with him a unique line of products powered by an interchangeable lithium ion cartridge system which he developed. These products will be integrated into the Flambeau Outdoors™ brands of products and may prove useful in other product lines as well.
Mr. Gurreri also delivers a wealth of experience. Mr. Gurreri began his career with Black & Decker (Townson, MD), where he worked as a sales and account manager, a project manager, Vice President of Marketing for DeWalt, and finally Vice President of Supply Chain for both DeWalt and Black & Decker brands. From Black & Decker, Chris moved on to serve in leadership positions at US Fence Inc. (Barrette Outdoor Living) (Cleveland, OH), Tri Palm International (Oasis Corporation) (Columbus, OH), and Techtronic Industries (Hong Kong), specifically TTi Floorcare (Cleveland, OH). Mr. Gurreri most recently served as CEO of Elite Lifestyle Products, LLC. a new business startup, where he developed the previously noted technology. Mr. Gurreri holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Ohio State University (Columbus, OH) and an Executive MBA at Loyola University (Baltimore, MD).
Mr. Gurreri lives in Northeast Ohio with his wife and four children.
