Doug Koenig Championship Season Presents 2014 US National Steel Championships

It’s the season opener of competitions and Doug’s on the range shooting Rimfire with his S&W Model .41, set up with a Leupold DeltaPoint 2 at the US National Steel Championships in Titusville, Florida. In this week’s episode, Doug explains how he’ll shoot two famous stages, ‘Smoke & Hope’ and ‘Outer Limits’ while pacing himself to shoot the steel targets fast and accurately, and maintain consistency.
Koenig commented, “This match is a great opportunity for families that shoot together to come out and experience the Rimfire event and observe the shooting techniques and skills of various competitors. Hearing that instant hit on a steel target is addictive and a great way to train.”
