Yamaha Marine Group Introduces Service Training Program

Yamaha Marine Group today announced the expansion of its world-class Yamaha Marine Service training. To meet a growing demand for training, courses are now available to Yamaha Global Distributors and select, qualified non-Yamaha organizations.
“Yamaha Marine Service Training through Yamaha Marine University offers the best technical training in the industry for Yamaha Marine technicians,” said Ben Speciale, Yamaha Marine Group President. “These courses are a great way to gain in-depth knowledge of the latest in Yamaha technology through classroom instruction and hands-on lab training.”
Courses available through Yamaha Marine Service Training include: Inline Engine Systems, V-Engine Systems, Electrical Systems, Drive Train Systems, and Helm Master Fully Integrated Boat Control System.
Yamaha Global Distributors must have a formal agreement with Yamaha Motor Company Ltd or one of its subsidiaries outside the United States to register. Yamaha Marine Service Training courses are also available to select, qualified non-Yamaha organizations including: military groups; military contractors that offer services and training to military groups or facilities; individuals associated with military facilities or contractors; local government services (Police, Fire, Rescue, Game & Fish, Parks & Recreation, etc.) that purchase engines through U.S. dealers. Other organizations may be approved for registration upon request and approval of Yamaha Marine Service Training. Fees are based and charged per person per class. Group discounts are available for larger classes with six to fourteen participants. Fees are dependent on the type of training, length of training, and include books and training materials.
