Big Rock Sports Names Top Fishing, Camping and Marine Vendors

Big Rock Sports, LLC recently honored a select group of fishing, camping and marine manufacturers with annual Vendor of the Year Awards during ICAST 2014 in Orlando, FL. The Vendor of the Year Award acknowledges manufacturers who endeavor to assist Big Rock Sports in better servicing independent outdoor sporting goods dealers.
“The recipients of these awards epitomize the best of the fishing and marine industries,” said Dave Martin, President of Big Rock’s Fishing, Camping and Marine Division. “We feel it’s important to recognize our vendor partners who go the extra mile to ensure that our industry thrives today and well into the future.”
Daiwa Corporation took home the top, overall honor of Vendor of the Year.
“Daiwa has once again proven that they are on the forefront of innovation and acutely aware of the importance of products being profitable for today’s independent retailer,” said Martin.

Other Vendor of the Year honorees included Rapala (Lure Vendor of the Year), Eagle Claw (Terminal Tackle Vendor of the Year), Coleman (Camping Vendor of the Year) and Sid Suggs (Manufacturer’s Rep of the Year).
