Beta USA Sending a Team to the ISDE

Beta USA is proud to announce they are sending a three-rider team to this year’s International Six Days Enduro in San Juan, Argentina. The team’s three racers, Cory Buttrick, Justin Sode, and Nick Burson have all qualified after winning two of their qualifiers and finishing third respectfully. The team’s captain is Ron Purvines who also manages his own Beta satellite race team in the AMA National Hare and Hound series.
Ron Purvines explains, “My team and & I are extremely excited to be participating in the 2014 ISDE race. The team has had a great year so far and I am confident that Nick Burson & all of Team Beta USA will do an outstanding job, and ride very well. We have brought in Scott Dunlavey, from SDR Racing, to share his wealth of experience from previous IDSE’s and Baja. Scott will help us with the logistics and advise us on strategies for the race as well as help the team out in any capacity he can. My team manager Collin Woolsey will also be going along with us to prep the bike prior to the event and give Nick whatever help he needs. We know that this year, being our first year, will have a steep learning curve, but are confident in the Beta 300 RR and in all our team riders and support staff. I look to have a good showing and be among the top American riders. We would like to thank Beta USA and all our sponsors for stepping up and helping us get to Argentina, it is a huge undertaking and without their support it would not be possible.
The team will all be on Beta two strokes with Cory Buttrick and Nick Burson racing the E3 class aboard 300 RR’s while Justin Sode will be in the competitive E2 class aboard a Beta 250 RR.
The team has started a tee shirt fundraiser. All of the proceeds will go directly to the team. Beta USA’s Tim Pilg explains “We are super pumped that three of our top riders going to Argentina. The cost is huge to send them but I feel we must go to show that Beta supports our racers and America. We want to send a three rider team each year so we created a cool tee shirt design that will help fund our efforts.”
