SEOPA Accepting Bids for Future Conferences

The Southeastern Outdoor Press Association (SEOPA) is seeking bids for the organization’s annual fall conferences in 2017, 2018 and possibly 2019.
The annual SEOPA conference attracts, on average, 225 members who are involved with the outdoors communications industry. Conference attendees gather to focus on craft improvement, develop relationships with fellow members, and explore outdoor opportunities in the host area.

Bids are due by January 31, 2015. Bidders should retain copies of the signed form(s).
Up to four finalists will be chosen by committee. Site inspections for finalists will need to be arranged for late winter/early spring of 2015. Upon site approval, the finalists will be submitted to the SEOPA board of directors for consideration.
Upon the board’s approval, finalists will be invited to make formal presentations to the board on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, at the beginning of the SEOPA Annual Fall Conference at Lakepoint Lodge in Eufaula, Ala. The winner(s) will be announced at the end of that conference.
