Destination Whitetail Featured During DIRECTV’s Free Sportsman Channel Preview

Destination Whitetail, the travel hunting show celebrating the culture and traditions of the people who love to hunt white-tailed deer, will be featured as part of DIRECTV’s free weeklong preview of the Sportsman Channel. DIRECTV subscribers can check their local listings for information on Destination Whitetail air times.
From August 25th through August 31st, DIRECTV customers will enjoy a free preview of all the quality shows offered by the Sportsman Channel. In addition to its regularly scheduled Wednesday evening programming, Destination Whitetail will also air two special episodes starting at 7:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, August 28th.
First up, viewers will join rock music legend and hunting advocate Ted Nugent at his Michigan retreat for a peek at how he unwinds with his wife Shemane and family. Cameras follow Nugent as he indulges in some white-tailed deer hunting and share his personal ideas on everyday preparedness. Later, Destination Whitetail embarks on a journey to Lake of the Woods, a lake occupying parts of Minnesota and both the Manitoba and Ontario provinces in Canada. Join the Beckel family as they display how they expertly maneuver the winds, waves and rocks of the island to tag scores of deer each year.
Explore the diverse hunting landscape in the U.S. each week on Destination Whitetail, airing every Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, only on the Sportsman Channel.
