Dove hunting season opens in Texas South and Central Zones this weekend (September 1, 2014). The season begins September 19, 2014 in the South Zone and Special White-winged Dove Area.
A Hunter Education certificate is required for all hunters born on or after September 2, 1971. Minimum age of certification is 9 years of age.
