The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) announced that Safariland, one of the leading holster and law enforcement equipment brands, as well as longtime supporter of the shooting sports, will once again be a major sponsor of the IDPA U.S. National Championship.
“We are pleased to welcome back Safariland and Bianchi as one of the major corporate sponsors of IDPA’s U.S. Nationals. Safariland has a long record of supporting the shooting sports, and sponsoring individual shooters, and we are proud to be working with them once again,” said Robert Ray, membership and marketing director for IDPA.
Safariland joins ACADEMI, Blade-Tech, Brownells, Comp-Tac, CZ-USA, GLOCK, Harris Publications, the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Nighthawk Custom, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, Walther and Wilson Combat as a gold level sponsor of the championship which takes place September 9 thru 13 at the U.S. Shooting Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The match is expected to draw over 300 of the sport’s top shooters.
“Very proud to be part of the IDPA Nationals as all the hard working volunteers put on such a well-run event, good luck to everyone involved.” said Scott Carnahan, Vice President, Safariland and Bianchi of The Safariland Group.
