ALPS OutdoorZ Introduces Gun Cases

ALPS OutdoorZ continues to add versatile hunter-friendly gear to their product lines for 2014 with the addition of soft-sided gun cases. There are three models of cases available and they all use durable 600D polyester outer fabric and heavy duty #10 zippers. The Maverick and Saratoga cases are available in models for both rifles and shotguns. The Refuge is designed for shotguns only and will protect your gun from the elements and will keep it afloat.
The Saratoga models use a durable polyester lining and the Maverick models feature a soft brushed tricot lining that is quilted for extra strength and durability. The Saratoga sizes are 7” x 52” for the shotgun case and 9” x 48” for the rifle cases. The Maverick sizes are slightly larger, with the shotgun cases 8” x 52” and the rifle cases 11” x 48”.
The balance of the features are the same for all of the Saratoga and Maverick cases. The full length #10 zippers allow the cases to be butterflied completely open. This allows for easy access to your gun and also allows the case to be used as a protective base when wiping down or cleaning your gun. All four models also have a side zippered pocket for extra storage. The rifle side pocket includes two zippered mesh pockets to organize small items. The shotgun side pocket has one zippered mesh pocket and elastic loops for holding shells or choke tubes. The Saratoga and Maverick gun cases are available in either a solid brown color or brown with Realtree Xtra HD accents, and both use blaze orange piping for a very distinctive appearance.
The Refuge shotgun case will protect your gun against the elements, and is also designed to float in water. The floating gun case features a 600D polyester outer layer and comes in Mossy Oak® Shadow Grass Blades® camo pattern. The side zippered mesh pocket contains elastic loops for holding choke tubes or extra shells, and an internal zippered mesh pocket stores parts or tools. The inside of the Refuge has a high density closed cell foam with a fold over Velcro flap to keep a shotgun protected and in place. The Refuge also has a padded shoulder strap and front D-ring for hanging when not in use.
