Safe Driving Strategies Featured during Toyota’s Teen Driver Experience Event at Pearl, Miss., Bass Pro Shops

Teens with a new driver’s license or learner’s permit and their parents are invited to the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World in Pearl, Mississippi, to learn the rules of the road for safe driving. The Teen Driver Experience, funded by Toyota and endorsed by the National Safety Council, will provide free hands on, behind-the-wheel driving programs Sept. 27 and 28, 2014.
The TeenDrive365 Teen Driver Experience events are two-and-a-half-hour sessions that involve driving time and classroom discussions. Participants can expect the Teen Driver Experience to go beyond standard driver education classes. Professional instructors will cover vehicle maintenance tips, defensive maneuvers and a number of other helpful safe driving techniques. The Teen Driver Experience also teaches parents how to be strong driving role models and coaches for their teen drivers.
Teens and parents interested in attending the safe driving event at the Pearl, Mississippi, Bass Pro Shops store can choose from the following sessions on Saturday, Sept. 27 and Sunday, Sept. 28:
- 8am-10:30am
- 9:30am- 12pm
- 11am-1:30pm
- 1:30pm-4pm
- 3pm-5:30pm
- 4:30pm-7pm
