Robinson Outdoor Products, manufacturer of ScentBlocker hunting clothing and scent eliminating liquids, and Tree Spiderhunting safety equipment, announced today that it has come to a mutual agreement to discontinue the representation of its products by sales group Outtech, Inc. effective October 1st, 2014.

Robinson Outdoor Products and its ever-expanding product portfolio has been established as the market leader with renowned ScentBlocker and Tree Spider brands. “We have carefully positioned these brands and specifically engineered our products for expansion into new markets, in many cases, markets which are not serviced by the Outtech group,” states Robinson President/CEO Scott Shultz.

“Robinson has been represented by Outtech for a number of years during which time we’ve worked together to experience great growth and market expansion. Today, our customers and end-user consumers demand more from a branded manufacturer then ever before. We have diligently worked to reposition Robinson, not only to meet those demands of today’s customer, but to surge into the future leveraging our technologies and adding exciting new markets. This is a tough decision, but strategically, it’s a necessary move to assure the company’s future is secured, and its growth potential is maximized,” says Shultz.

“We look forward to making a very exciting announcement within the next few weeks, as we finalize strategic alliances with new sales and marketing partners,” adds Todd Leidall, EVP of Sales for Robinson.

“These new alliances will allow us to focus more deeply upon our largest retailers, explore some potential new markets, and without sacrificing the all-important independent dealer. These dealers are the backbone of our company and, while we eye growth in new markets, we insist on maintaining a strong presence in this critical grassroots area,” adds Leidall
