Bethel University Hopes to Land Shannon Reaser with Bass Team Scholarship

The head coach of the Bethel University Wildcat Bass Team, Garry Mason, has made a scholarship offer to The Outdoor Option co-host Shannon Reaser.  The scholarship is for four years, and begins in the Fall of 2015.

“Shannon would make an outstanding member of what already is America’s premier collegiate fishing program,” said Garry Mason, Head Bass Fishing Coach at Bethel University. “She would receive a great education at Bethel University, and I would personally assist in her future endeavors in the outdoor industry.”

Shannon will graduate from Elyria Catholic High School in the Spring of 2015.  She is a varsity cheerleader and is active in student government.  Bethel University is a private, 4-year institution located in West Tennessee.

The Outdoor Option is a TV show that puts you on the edge of your seat as you follow a father, son, and daughter trio. Proud father Dan Reaser leads his 21 year-old son Danny, and 17 year-old daughter Shannon on the adventures across North America.

The focus of The Outdoor Option isn’t just hunting and fishing, it’s more about the shared outdoor experiences of this very engaging family. The close family bond provides the central theme of the show.  It’s a program the entire family can enjoy. The new season of The Outdoor Option kicks off in January, 2015, on Pursuit channel and Sportsman channel.
