SIG SAUER Pro Max Michel Takes Area 4 Title

SIG SAUER, Inc. congratulates Max Michel, Jr., on his overall victory at the United States Practical Shooting Association Area 4 Championship this weekend.
The match, held in Fort Smith, Arkansas August 28-31 drew some of the nation’s top competitive shooters. In a field featuring more than two dozen grand master and master class shooters, Michel cruised to a 10-percentage point margin of victory.
A day later, Michel took a very close second place at the USPSA Area 8 Championship in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Just 1.7 percentage points separated Michel from the top spot.
“Shooting two area championships in the same weekend is always a bigger challenge,” Michel said. “But I got to shoot with my dad at Area 4, and the Area 8 match is always a great event. It was worth the effort.”
