New Design and an American Tradition Combined by Bear & Son in New Lockback
OutdoorHub 09.12.14
The new G149LB Cowhand lockback from Bear & Son Cutlery combines advantages of a new knife design with a look that reflects a longstanding American tradition.
Made to be reliable in the toughest conditions, yet small enough to be easily carried, the new Cowhand provides smooth one-hand opening and positive locking action.
It has a 2-7/8” taper-ground modified spear-point blade made of rust-resistant 440 high carbon stainless steel that holds an edge. Locked open, it is 6-5/8” long, and is a compact 3-3/4” closed.
The Cowhand weighs only 1.4 ounces, so it is convenient to carry, either in your pocket or on your belt with a metal clip to anchor it in place.
Bolsters are nickel silver and the handles are rugged Blue G10, reflecting the 141-year tradition of blue jeans, the comfortable, durable favorites for men, starting with miners and cowboys, and now outdoorsmen, workers and more. The blue handles are embedded with a back pocket shield etched with B&S. Retail price for the G149LB Cowhand, $95.
