Gander Mountain Celebrates Remodeling in Flint

With the autumn recreation and hunting seasons upon us, Gander Mountain is celebrating a fresh new look for outdoors enthusiasts in Michigan this weekend, opening its newly-remodeled Flint store.
“It’s exciting to bring our great selection of merchandise, a sharp new look and improved shopping experience to so many of our Gander Mountain stores,” said David Pratt, Gander Mountain’s CEO. “Through dozens of major remodeling projects at stores throughout our network, we’re giving our loyal patrons and our newest fans an even better place to get the best gear and expertise at the best prices.”
The Flint Gander Mountain store is located at 5038 Miller Road in Flint, just north of I-69 at S Linden Road (exit 131). The three-day Remodel Celebration is September 19, 20 & 21. Special events and giveaways include:
- The first 100 customers through the door at the Flint location on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will receive a free $10 Gander Mountain gift card.
- The first 250 customers to make a purchase at the Flint location on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will receive a free Gander Mountain gift.
- Customers can register for a chance to win a trip for two to the CMA Awards in Nashville, TN.
Gander Mountain has updated everything, including the flooring, paint colors, carpet, graphics and store fixtures to reflect the retail leader’s newest design. Most notably, the firearms selection has been increased from the previous makeup of the store, and the footwear department has been greatly expanded with a new design. It provides visitors with a much warmer feel and better visibility, where the finishes and fixtures create not only an easier and better shopping experience for the customer, but also highlight the great assortment of products Gander Mountain carries.
