Leica, manufacturer of legendary lenses since 1849, is excited to introduce the new benchmark for optical performance – the Ultravid HD-PLUS 42 mm binoculars. Using industry-leading glass technologies, Leica created the Ultravid HD-PLUS binoculars with new objective HD/HT glass elements to provide you with the brightest, most crystal clear images, making them perfect for game scouting and glassing before and during your hunt.

The new glass for lenses and prisms, along with new proprietary coatings, provides for a significantly increased transmission of light – up to 92 percent. This increased transmission, particularly in the blue-violet band, allows for optimum viewing during low-light conditions, which is critical for spotting prey during peak activity in the early dawn and twilight hours.

In addition to a brighter viewing image, these binoculars offer an increased dynamic range in all viewing situations. The prisms of the Ultravid HD-PLUS binoculars are made from specified and precisely formulated SCHOTT HT glasses, and are created using a new, high-temperature plasma coating process that deposits thin films of the highest-quality materials on the lens surface. This process allows for increased performance and higher contrast with near-perfect image color.

Along with a brighter image, these new Ultravid HD-PLUS models include all of the outstanding features of the previous Ultravid HD 42s binoculars, including AquaDura coating protection against water, dirt and fogging, and a rugged, waterproof construction made from the finest materials of titanium and magnesium. You can take these binoculars anywhere your hunting excursion takes you, and they will perform exceptionally under all weather conditions.

The Ultravid HD-PLUS series includes three models, all with 42 mm lenses. A 7x, 8x and 10x magnification model is available to suit every need, be it whitetail in heavy brush or elk across distant canyons. All models are compact and come with a comfortable fabric strap for convenience.

Expand your hunting day to earlier dawn light or the late twilight hours.  With an Ultravid HD-PLUS you will see every detail and not miss a minute.
