Jim Shockey Partners with Freedom Hunters for January Event

Jim Shockey partners with Freedom Hunters to host a Sporting Clay event, January 14, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. The “Jim Shockey Shootout for Freedom Hunters” is an effort to continue and expand Shockey’s mission to salute the noble work of the courageous men, women and families of the Armed Forces. Jim joined forces with a long-standing military outreach program to honor our Nation’s Finest. The Shootout is set the day before the Dallas Safari Club Convention to allow the maximum number of Jim Shockey fans to show their patriotism.
Many have participated in the Jim Shockey Desert Golf Shootout that raised more than $350,000 during the past six years to benefit conservation and host military veterans on all-expenses-paid hunting adventures. Jim will be hosting this brand new sporting clays event at Elm Fork Shooting Sports to raise funds to send servicemen and women on hunting, fishing and shooting adventures that they might not otherwise be able to enjoy. The Jim Shockey Shootout for Freedom Hunters will be an annual tradition before the Dallas Safari Club Convention, so that we can spread our gratitude to even more deserving troops.
