Pheasants Forever Edition Ford Trucks Hit the Road this October

Pheasants Forever Limited, Upland and Custom Edition Pheasants Forever series F-150 trucks will soon be available in partnership with Apple Autos. Pheasants Forever and Apple Autos will host an unveiling of the new truck series on Saturday, October 4 at the store’s Apple Valley, Minn. location.
Supporting the conservation efforts of Pheasants Forever as a national sponsor and backer of the Build a Wildlife Area program, Apple Autos continues to promote the mission of the organization with the new Ford truck series lineup. “We’re excited about this unique partnership with Pheasants Forever,” said Chris Gulbrandson, president of Apple Autos. “The Pheasants Forever Edition trucks will help us extend our relationship with members and will be instrumental in increasing our financial support for the Build a Wildlife Area program.“
Apple Autos is a major sponsor Pheasants Forever’s 2014 Rooster Road Trip providing a custom, F-150 extended cab truck created specifically for the journey through pheasant country. Similar to this truck, each Pheasants Forever edition vehicle comes specially equipped for the avid hunter or anyone who enjoys the outdoor lifestyle. Pheasants Forever edition F-150 trucks, including the Rooster Road Trip vehicle, will be available for viewing at the unveiling celebration on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at Apple Autos in Apple Valley, Minnesota.

Pheasants Forever launched Quail Forever in August of 2005 to address the continuing loss of habitat suitable for quail and the subsequent quail population decline. Bobwhite population losses over the last 25 years range from 60 to 90 percent across the country. The reason for the quail population plunge is simple - massive losses of habitat suitable for quail. There are five major factors leading to the losses of quail habitat; intensified farming and forestry practices, succession of grassland ecosystems to forests, overwhelming presence of exotic grasses like fescue that choke out wildlife, and urban sprawl.
