WHAT: The 2014 FLW Forrest Wood Cup on Lake Murray presented by Walmart will be broadcast in high-definition (HD) on NBC when “FLW” airs Oct. 5 from 2 – 3 p.m. EST.
WHEN: Sunday, Oct. 5, 2 – 3 p.m. EST
NOTES: If you didn’t have the chance to attend the Aug. 14-17 event on Lake Murray near Columbia, South Carolina, get ready to witness the most exciting Forrest Wood Cup of all-time. The show’s focus is on Chevy pro Anthony Gagliardi’s relentless march to the top, but it also details the agony that Straight Talk Wireless pro Scott Canterbury experienced when he lost the bass that would have won the championship’s $500,000 paycheck for him, Steve Kennedy’s phenomenal rally from 10th place and Brent Ehrler’s realization that he would not be the first two-time winner of the Forrest Wood Cup – at least not this year.
It’s all there to share, Oct. 5 on NBC beginning at 2 p.m. EST. A follow-up showing will air the same day on NBC Sports at 7 p.m. EST. The Emmy-nominated “FLW” television show is hosted by Jason Harper and is broadcast to more than 564 million households worldwide, making it the most widely distributed weekly outdoors-sports television show in the world.
