This Week on American Airgunner – Scopes, Booms, and Targets

This week on American Airgunner TV Rossi Morreale is at the Round Table for an in-depth discussion about scopes for air rifles with Tom Gaylord, Jim Chapman, and Rick Eutsler. Can the scope on your firearm be used on a high-powered pellet rifle? Do you know why your pellet rifle scope won’t stay on zero? These questions and others are answered in this week’s Round Table.

Rossi also takes a look at the mechanics of the targets used in Field Target competitions. This airgun sport simulates hunting with reactive steel targets. They’re set at distances that range from 10 to 55 yards and have hit zones that range from 3/8-inch to 2-inches. Can you put a pellet cleanly through a marble sized hole at 20 yards?

Ever wonder if you can blow things up with an airgun? Rossi Morreale gives it a try while in Arizona. What factor of an airgun is most important—velocity or caliber? Rick Eutsler tackles this age-old debate.
