Media Day Initial Impressions: Glock 41 and 42

Glock was showing off their recently-announced models 41 and 42 at this year’s Media Day at the Range. The long-slided 41 is chambered in .45 ACP and the much-anticipated 42 is chambered in .380 ACP. The latter feeds from a single-stack magazine that holds six rounds. Both models offer Glock simplicity and reliability in new formats. While the 41 is geared more towards competition shooters and full-size carriers, I suspect the 42 will find a lot of success in the pocket pistol market. The rumored MSRP on the Glock 42 is under $400.
