Okuma Releases New Inspira ISX “A” Spinning Reel

I’ve always been a big fan of Okuma Reels but it seems the company has improved on their already stellar line of fishing gear with the introduction of their latest addition, the Inspira ISX “A” Spinning Reel. Okuma designed the Inspira ISX “A” to provide exceptional stability, power, and a smooth retrieve.
The body of the reel is constructed using Okuma’s diecast aluminum Torsion Control Armor (TCA) technology which uses a double arm design to offer higher torsion and flex resistance under heavy pressure. This increases rigidity and keeps your internals in perfect alignment. I was able to try out the Inspira ISX “A” on my latest fishing trip and can honestly say that this reel excelled in the retrieving department. The reel has 9 total stainless steel ball bearings which made a huge difference during my test of the reel.
The Inspira ISX’s multi-disc Carbonite and stainless-steel drag washer system provided a really smooth drag pull while I was out on the water and it was definitely tested with a few big blue cats that I was able to haul in.
It’s lightweight as well weighing only 7.1 oz. – but don’t let the light weight fool you! The Inspira ISX “A” puts out up to 24-lbs of maximum drag which is needed for the inshore fishing that I do. The Inspira ISX’s oversized HDGII main gear with a machine-cut brass pinion gear ensures durability. The reel also utilizes a machined aluminum screw-in handle design and lightweight, TPE handle knobs for big-time comfort while fishing. The reel showcases an extra-light, machined aluminum, braided line-ready spool equipped with a rubber spool band to prevent line slippage. A heavy-duty, solid aluminum bail wire to ensure smooth line management and casting performance. The RESII: Computer balanced Rotor Equalizing System offers perfect balance for reduced rotor wobble and smoother operation.
There are four total high-speed models within the Inspira ISX “A” lineup of spinning reels. 2000 and 3000 size all feature 6.0:1 standard gear ratio, while the 4000 and 5000 models feature a 6.2:1 gear ratio. Inspira ISX spinning reels are backed by a 1-Year Limited Warranty.
