When you head outside to throw burgers on the grill this summer, you may take a look at your BBQ machine and notice it’s not made in America. Well, Kid Rock has a few suggestions for said grill . . .

An Instagram account titled americanbadassgrill shows one Kid Rock catapulting foreign-made grills into the air and then blasting them out of the sky with his shotgun. Call it badass, redneck skeet shooting:

Potential senator and famed rocker, Mr. Rock has a much better (and more American) grilling machine for you: the American Badass Grill.

The American Badass Grill website lists the following features of the grill:

  • Made in the U.S.A. – by American workers for American workers
  • Tough. Hardworking. Built to last.
  • Full-throttle grill in a portable size. Large enough to fit 12 burgers, small enough to take the party on the road.
  • Gets the job done. Dual damper system cooks to perfection – hot & fast or slow & low.

“If we can get something made in America, #1 the quality is going to be better,” Rock said. “If I have an opportunity to create something I believe in and get it made in America, by God that’s what I’ going to do.”

American Badass.

Do you know anyone else who films infomercial footage from a GoPro attached to the end of a 12-gauge shotgun? Didn’t think so.

Obviously, it was not a good day to be “made in China. . .”

“This is what it looks like when Chinese-made grills meet American-made explosives,” the Instagram account reads.
