How To Make Your Own Fish Stringer
Ed Johnson 04.26.11
Don’t have a fish stringer in your tackle box? Cut a small sharp stick about 8 inches long and cut a small notch on each side. Take some fishing line and triple its thickness in a four foot section (four to 6 strands should work).
Tie a knot in one end with a loop. Tie the other end to the stick. The notch will keep the line from slipping. You can then run the stick through the fish’s mouth and back through the loop in the other end. The fish is secure and now you can add your limit when fishing.
