Doves have keen eyes to spot predators from high vantage points. To ensure your dove hunting trip is a success you should consider using proper field camo. Now, we all love Realtree Hardwoods or Mossy Oak Breakup, but upland hunters have been using light colors for years. Different shades of brown and light grays will help break up your outline.
Then try to blend into your surroundings to by hiding in tall grass or next to a tree. Doves tend to fly through field openings so scout out their activity the day before or even just 5 minutes before setting up. Then, pick a spot to hide and intercept. Hiding in tall grass will allow for you not to be seen by the dove so you have enough time to aim and shoot.
