How to make Fishing Top Water Baits Easier

Fishing top water baits is one of my favorite ways to fish. I use this tip to make it even more fun.
I take fly line floatant and rub it on my mono, 6 inches above my topwater bait. It makes the line float and has less resistance when being pulled through the water. It makes walking the dog and using a Popper a lot smoother. Less restriction and more fluid motion makes for easier fishing.
Try this out and you’ll have a lot more fun and maybe a bigger catch the next time you go fishing.
