Video: How to Build a Simple Tarp Tent

In the following video, Idaho biologist and craftsman Clay Hayes gives a simple demonstration on how to build a versatile tarp shelter. More videos will be forthcoming from Clay and Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (BHA), a Montana-based organization that provides a voice for sportsmen and conservation. These videos are part of an effort to preserve backcountry skills and to share this knowledge with anyone who loves the outdoors.

“These are the kinds of skills that every new hunter and angler should master in order to safely enjoy the backcountry,” said Hayes in a statement. “Along the way, even veteran wilderness travelers may pick up an interesting tip or two.”
