Guide Tip Video: End-of-the-Season Boat Cleaning Made Easy

Perhaps you’re getting ready to store your boat for fall and winter and change your outdoor focus from walleyes to whitetails. Or maybe you’re like me and enjoy fishing open water until newly formed ice at the public access prevents you from launching your boat.

Whatever the case, chances are good that hardwater stains from this spring and summer have left your boat looking less than 100 percent. The good news is it’s easy and inexpensive to bring back the shine to your rig. Check out the video below to see how I recently cleaned my guiding boat. (Be sure to turn up the volume on this Facebook video.)

Josh spends 300 days a year on the water (both open and frozen) pursuing many species of freshwater fish throughout the upper Midwest and his home state of Minnesota.
