Bag a Bird? Now Use Chad Mendes’ Recipe for Smoking Wild Turkey Breast

Chad Mendes keeps leveling up in the kitchen, and making us hungry at the same time!

These videos just keep getting better, and considering turkey season is beginning to open up in most states, his latest video on YouTube comes at an opportune time. Last time we watched Chad throw down in the kitchen, we borrowed some of his tips for making homemade beef jerky. This time, you might want to bookmark his video for when you shoot a gobbler this spring.

There are a lot of things you can do with a wild turkey, but it really seems to lend itself to cooking low and slow on a smoker. The meat is super lean and can very easily become dry and tough if not prepared the right way. Chad’s recipe will keep it juicy and packed with flavor!

Give this one a shot and let us know how it turns out! Send us a picture, or tag us over on Instagram.
