How to Install the Franklin Armory BFSIII 22 C1 Binary Trigger in your Ruger 10/22

In this article, we are going to walk you through the process of installing a Franklin Armory BFSIII 22 C1 trigger system on a Ruger 10-22 rifle.

Binary triggers are not new to the market, but their use and adoption are growing every day. Shooters are always looking for ways to increase the fun of their range trips and a binary trigger can take your good times to the next level. I recently had the chance to get my hands on a BFSIII 22 C1 trigger group from Franklin Armory and wanted to show you how simple the process of swapping this out on your Ruger 10-22 is.

Before diving in, if you aren’t familiar with a binary trigger, it allows you to fire a second round on the release of the trigger. In a standard semi-auto rifle, the release of the trigger will not fire around. So, with the addition of a binary trigger, you are greatly increasing your rate of fire and also the cool factor of your gun.

The BFSIII 22-C1 is a 3-position trigger, allowing you to select from Safe, Semi-Auto, and Binary. You can also cancel out the second round to be fired by keeping your finger on the depressed trigger and moving the selector switch to the safe position. This is a really great safety feature implemented by Franklin Armory on all of their binary trigger systems.

In the following video OutdoorHub Contributor Luke Cuenco will walk you through the complete process of installing your BFSIII 22-C1 into a 10/22.

So there you have it, the installation of the BFSIII 22-C1 is an absolute breeze and once installed, you are ready to have a really fun time at the range with your friends.
