GunBroker.com, an active supporter of the National Shooting Sports Foundation and contributor to many programs to promote America’s hunting and shooting sports heritage, has commissioned a special pair of Henry Repeating rifles for auction in support of the upcoming NSSF Shooting Sports Summit.

Working in cooperation with Henry Repeating Arms and Baron Engraving, GunBroker.com has commissioned a Henry .22 Golden Boy and Henry .357 Big Boy rifle featuring a Shooting Sports Summit theme.

Proceeds from the auction of the guns on GunBroker.com will be earmarked to support “Task Force 20-20” initiatives identified by Summit attendees. “Task Force 20-20” initiatives are designed to increase participation in hunting and shooting sports 20% by 2014.

“The NSSF Shooting Sports Summit is an awesome program and the NSSF is to be congratulated for its leadership in providing the framework for hunting, shooting and conservation leaders to brainstorm ideas and initiatives to grow hunting and shooting sports participation,” commented Steve Urvan, CEO of GunBroker.com. “All of us at GunBroker.com are pleased to play a small role in supporting this critical effort.”

The .357 magnum Summit gun features special serial number “NSSFSUMMIT1” and the .22 Golden Boy carries serial

number “NSSFSUMMIT2”. Each rifle is engraved with symbolic artwork that emphasizes America’s hunting and shooting sports heritage.

The right side of the receiver on each rifle features a symbolic Early American adult-child hunting scene superimposed with a modern rendition of the same scene. Scroll engraving and the inscription “2011 Summit Edition One of One” surround the artwork.

The left side of each receiver features a banner reading “Commissioned for the 2011 Shooting Sports Summit. Advancing our Hunting & Shooting Sports Heritage” surrounded by scroll engraving.

The high bidder for each of the special Henrys will also receive a Certificate of Authenticity documenting that their rifle is one of the pair of guns commissioned by GunBroker.com in commemoration of the NSSF 2011 Shooting Sports Summit and in support of “Task Force 20-20” initiatives to foster the future of our hunting and shooting sports traditions.

GunBroker.com has expressed special thanks to Henry Repeating Arms for providing hand-selected .22 Golden Boy and .357 Big Boy rifles and to Baron Engraving for their superb engraving and artwork.

The rifles are being featured on www.GunBroker.com from May 30-June 12, 2011.
