Team Benelli Shooters Harris and Miller Take First at Midwest 3-Gun Championships

ACCOKEEK, MD (June 2, 2011) – Team Benelli shooters Katie Harris and Kurt Miller won big at the 2011 Midwest
3-Gun Championship held at Fire-for-Effect Gun Range in Fayette, MO. Harris and Miller both took first place in their respective divisions – Harris winning in Tactical-Optics and Miller placing first in Tactical-Irons.
Katie Harris was on fire for the entire match taking 1st Place overall for both the Lady’s and Junior’s divisions of Tactical-Optics. Kurt Miller (872.521) left the competition behind winning 1st overall in the Tactical-Irons Division. Team Benelli shooters, Rob Romero (692.35) took 4th overall, Jeremy Parker (659.84) took 6th overall, and Ben Fortin (588.71) took 8th overall in the Tactical-Optics Division. In the Heavy Metal Optics Division Team Benelli shooters, Jeff Cramblit (761.07) took 2nd overall and Jansen Jones (488.13) took 4th overall.
Coming up next on the 3-Gun Nation (3GN) Tour is the challenging MGM Ironman, June 5-11 in Parma, Idaho. 3GN Points are at stake along with a 3GN Shoot-Off event with a $5,000 payout. Ironman will be the fifth of ten 3GN Tour events this season.
