Vermont Wild Profits Help Wildlife

CHARLOTTE, VT – Pine Marten Press, publisher of “Vermont Wild, Volume 1, Adventures of Fish & Game Wardens” has donated $500 to Wild in Vermont, a not for profit organization which provides care to orphaned and injured wild animals, birds and reptiles.
“Vermont Wild” is a collection of true, humorous adventures of retired game warden Eric Nuse of Johnson. Published in paperback, written by Megan Price and illustrated by Bob Lutz of Fairfax, the book is a Vermont best seller that has sold copies nationwide.
“Thanks to the many independent bookstores and retail outlets and individuals who bought the book we are able to make this donation,” Price said. “Eric and I agreed from the onset that if the book was successful, we would donate to worthy causes like Wild in Vermont. When people buy the book, they are supporting wildlife and conservation too. ”
Wild in Vermont President Nancy Carey said, “Spring and summer is a busy time of year for volunteers who provide care to many young birds and animals. This is an unexpected but very welcome gift. The money supports licensed Wildlife Rehabilitators who provide care for young orphaned or injured animals and birds before returning them to the wild.”
