Bloodline to Air Premier Episode to Benefit Joplin Residents

   06.14.11

Mountain View, MO – In an effort to aid the residents of Joplin, Missouri, the team at Bloodline TV will air the premiere episode of their show at the Timber Creek Cinema, in Mountain View, Missouri. The screening will begin at 7 PM, Tuesday, June 21.

Cost for admission will be a cash donation, or a donation of canned foods for the residents of the city of Joplin.

The decision to go ahead with this benefit was made after the Bloodline crew toured Joplin, a few days after the tornado struck. Alex Rutledge had this to say, “When we went through Joplin, we honestly couldn’t believe what we were seeing. The destruction is simply amazing, we knew we had to do something to help those people – their worlds have been turned upside down. The first episode of the new TV series will air on the 27th of June, we’ve just put the finishing touches on it, and we know people are anxious to see it. We realized this was a perfect opportunity to step up and help. We’ll air that first episode for the public, and all we ask is a donation of cash or food for the people of Joplin. We look forward to a good turnout, it’s the right thing to do, and the people of Missouri have a long history of helping each other out during tough times.”

Bloodline will debut June 27, on the Pursuit Channel, Dish 240 snd DirecTV 608.
