The Hunting Heritage Trust and the Shooting Industry Academy of Excellence™ have renewed a partnership that will invite Academy of Excellence product award winners to feature their products in a special auction on GunBroker.com.
Each year the Academy of Excellence recognizes outstanding products, services and individuals in the hunting and firearms industry. For the second consecutive year, manufacturers of winning products in 10 categories can elect to have those products featured in a special “Saluting the Best” auction on Gunbroker.com.
“Since we launched the Academy of Excellence some 20 years ago, our primary objective has been to provide well-deserved recognition for those manufacturers that have brought exciting new products to the marketplace,” commented Randy Molde, Director of the Academy. “This new partnership with the Hunting Heritage Trust and the opportunity to have our winning products featured on Gunbroker.com is a perfect addition to our program. It will provide visibility for our winning manufacturers at the same time that it makes GunBroker.com’s 2.8 million unique monthly visitors aware of new award-winning outdoor equipment.”
The Shooting Industry Academy of Excellence was created in 1992 by Shooting Industry magazine and includes more than some 500 hunting and shooting sports industry executives, firearms retailers and members of the outdoor media as voting judges. Each year, these 500 Academy members vote to recognize extraordinary product design, innovation and service to the hunting and shooting sports industry. The winners are announced at the impressive Academy of Excellence Awards presentation, scheduled this year for July 22-23 in Bowling Green, Kentucky in conjunction with the 10th Annual Shooting Industry Masters shooting competition.
Outstanding products are recognized in Accessory, Optic, Knife, Safety Product, Self-Defense Product, Ammunition, Hunting Product, Handgun, Rifle and Shotgun categories.
