New Berlin, WI – Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American sportsman, is proud to announce a new hunting series focused on long-range precision hunting, Extreme Outer Limits, premiers Thursday, June 30 at 10 p.m. ET.

The mission for hosts Bob Beck and wife, Chris, is unique and direct: demonstrate the science and accuracy behind long-range hunting that is proven to produce clean harvests on mature animals time and again.

“Some audiences have misconceptions about long-range hunting,” said host Bob Beck. “This type of hunting is extremely difficult. You have to adjust for wind, the rotation of the bullet and yes, even the earth’s rotation at extreme distances. It’s really based in science and Chris and I hope to put some of the existing myths to rest.”

Throughout the first four episodes, Extreme Outer Limits will show viewers new ways of hunting big game from extreme distances in various locations across the U.S.A. few of the highlights include co-host, Chris Beck, harvesting a black bear from 1025 yards in Oregon. According to Becks’ producers, this is the longest shot recorded by a woman on tape. “After we checked the wind multiple times – and elevation – I felt really comfortable taking this shot. Its something I’ve practiced multiple times and was very fulfilling for me,” said Chris.

Bob and Chris are Oregon natives and continue their adventures around their home during episode nine with their children. Their family travels on a blacktail hunt that produced a trophy buck at more than 1000 yards. The Beck kids also display their shooting prowess with accurate harvesting of their own.

“We like to hunt the country that is too large for the traditional hunting equipment and stay out of the animals’ house to keep them from going nocturnal,” said Bob Beck, Host of Extreme Outer Limits. “Our mission is to close the deal on the trophy game and we’ve been successful in doing so. Extreme Outer Limits is very authentic and raw, which is why we’re proud to be on Sportsman Channel.”
