First Shots Seminar Focuses on Target Shooting

LINCOLN, Neb. – Shoot a handgun or a rifle for the first time at a First Shots seminar July 16 at Platte River State Park, according to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. This free introduction to target shooting will be at the Outdoor Heritage Shooting Complex.

Participants must be at least 11 years of age to shoot a rifle and 18 to shoot a handgun. They will be supervised and learn about firearm safety.
