Must Have Outdoors Named the Official Show of the 2011 Academy of Excellence Awards

Must Have Outdoors is proud to announce that it has been named the Official Show of the 2011 Academy of Excellence Awards. This product-based television show will be featuring a special episode on the winners of the 2011 awards, airing on both the Sportsman and Pursuit Channel.
“The Academy of Excellence Awards and Must Have Outdoors go hand in hand,” said Co-Host Katie Howard. “We’re both in search of the best products the industry has to offer. We’re proud to be partnering with this prestigious event and look forward to working with them to put together this special episode.”
The special episode scheduled to air in 4th quarter 2011 will feature highlights of the award ceremony, the winning products, and product highlights by Co-Hosts Andrew and Katie Howard.
“We’re thrilled that Must Have Outdoors is showcasing the 20th Anniversary Shooting Industry Academy of Excellence award nominees,” said Shooting Industry Academy of Excellence Director, Randy Molde. “The voting Academy did an outstanding job selecting the year’s top products. Each of the 32 product award nominees is representative of the manufacturing excellence we celebrate each year. I hope show viewers are ready for this because they’re going to want every product featured.”
Categories for the 2011 Academy of Excellence include: Accessory of the Year, Hunting Product of the Year, Self-Defense Product of the Year, Ammunition of the Year, Optic of the Year, Knife of the Year, Safety Product of the Year, Handgun of the Year, Rifle of the Year, and Shotgun of the Year.
Must Have Outdoors can be found airing on the Sportsman Channel Mondays at 5:30 pm, Tuesdays at 9:00 am, and Wednesdays at 11:00 pm. They also air on Pursuit Channel Thursdays at 1:30 pm, Saturdays at 4:30 pm and Sundays at 5:30 pm. All times are Eastern.
