Pikesville, Maryland – July 14, 2011 – Briley Manufacturing, Inc. is sponsoring the Shotgun Journal Classic TV show, which was originally hosted by Bruce Scott and Marty Fischer, on Shotgun Life (www.shotgunlife.com).

As the first online magazine dedicated to the best in wing and clays shooting, Shotgun Life is streaming episodes of the Shotgun Journal programs. Shotgun Journal ran on the Outdoor Channel and the Outdoor Life Network from 1999-2009. On the Outdoor Channel the show drew 225,000-250,000 viewers per week.

“As the host and producer of Shotgun Journal, I have been fortunate to have hunted some of the best wingshooting destinations in the world,” said Bruce Scott. “I have selected some of the more memorable hunts to share on Shotgun Life and sincerely hope that the viewers enjoy these programs.”

“We’re honored to be working with Bruce Scott, a visionary in outdoor cable TV,” said Irwin Greenstein, Publisher of Shotgun Life. “We truly appreciate Briley’s support in our new endeavor.”

The collaboration capitalizes on the surge in Internet TV viewership. The number of U.S. unique viewers of online video increased 10.5% year-over-year, in February 2010, according to The Nielsen Company. Likewise, the research firm, eMarketer estimates that 33% of online adults in the US, or 58.9 million people, watched full-length television shows online last year on a monthly basis.

The first wave of programming on Shotgun Life will begin with four Shotgun Journal Classic episodes: Hungarian Partridge, Ducks in Mexico, Crow Hunting and Ptarmigan in Canada.

Viewers only need to visit www.shotgunlife.com and watch the TV shows free of charge.
