Essex Junction, VT, USA (July 18, 2011) – Max Michel, champion shooter for Revision, captured Second Place Overall in the Open Pro Division at the 2011 Pro-Am Championship, held at the Universal Shooting Academy in Frostproof, FL July 15-17, 2011. Michel won five of the eight “skins” and shot down a total of 240 targets, just shy of the 247 targets shot down to win the competition. This is Michel’s second consecutive year placing Second Place Overall in the Open Pro Division. Over 350 competitors turned out to compete in the extreme Florida heat.
“Shooting an all steel match, I knew my Revision Sawfly® Military Eyewear System would be the perfect choice for this event,” commented Michel. “Not only was I able to switch through various color lenses quickly with the lighting changes, but I was also the most protected shooter on the range!”
Michel will next be competing in the 2011 Area 3 Championship, held at the Heartland Public Shooting Park in Grand Island, NE August 11th – 14th, 2011.
