Team Fowl Life Partners with Mallard View Outdoors to Continue Their Kansas Hunting Expedition

August 9, 2011: Award winning national television series The Fowl Life with Chad Belding continues on the Sportsman Channel and WILD TV with the team in Kansas, beginning Thursday, August 11, at 2 AM ET. Hosted by renowned hunting guru and outdoorsman Chad Belding, the show takes viewers into the lives of Team Fowl Life as they chase waterfowl throughout the United States and Canada. The team goes behind-the-scenes to call animals such as mallards, puddle and diver ducks, and geese into close range.

This week Chad Belding and Team Fowl Life will hunt with John Ray from Ray Products in Kansas, who also makes the custom boxes used for Banded Calls. Ray Products was established in 1966 in Parsons, Kansas and over the years has established itself as a premiere custom set-up and rigid paper boxes supplier.

Also, joining Team Fowl Life are veteran hunters Alex Langbell, Magen Prather, and Ben Webster; as well as Adam Gilkey and Jim Stanford from Central Kansas Outfitters.

“Central Kansas Outfitters did their homework again and had Team Fowl Life right on the birds. I tip my hat to these guys when it comes to being professional duck hunters,” Belding said.

Temperatures in Kansas kept the team in suspense and they were able to utilize a winter hunting tool from Mallard View Outdoors, the Power House Ice Eater, which provided them an edge over the ducks. With these tools, Belding was effortlessly able to bring waterfowl within 15 yards of their hunting spot.

“We were back in Kansas for late season duck hunting and it was incredible! We did not have the huge flocks since the birds were feeding heavy and popping back and forth to any open water they could find. We had pairs and smaller groups right in the decoys all day long,” Belding explained. “The Ice Eaters by Mallard View Outdoors were the most important piece to this hunt. The device opened up a hole and kept it open in temperatures that fell below negative 10 degrees.”
