Denver, Colo. – Sept. 1, 2011 – WFN: World Fishing Network, North America’s only 24-hour fishing lifestyle network today announced the appointment of Carlos Baez to the position of Senior Director, Affiliate Sales.

Baez spent 15 years at A&E Networks (1994-2009) working his way up to Vice President of Distribution for all A&E Networks’ SD and HD services as well as distribution of content on non-linear platforms. Previously he served as Director, Affiliate Sales & Marketing, Southeast Region. He will be based in Atlanta and report to Sean Luxton in WFN’s Denver office.

Baez served as the President of CTAM Florida from 2003-05 and has been an active member of the NAMIC National Multicultural Marketing Committee and has served as Associate Director for the Florida and Louisiana Cable Telecommunications Associations. The graduate of Ohio University has received many industry honors including the 2003 AETN President’s Award and being chosen to represent the company at CTAM U. at Harvard University Business School in 2005.
