Geocachers Campout at Indiana Dunes State Park, Sept. 23-25

Join fellow geocaching enthusiasts for the 7th annual Indiana State Parks Cacher’s Campout at Indiana Dunes State Park, Sept. 23-25.

The event begins with a Friday night geocachers social at the Wilson Shelter, where geocachers can share their geocoins, pathtags, and adventure stories.

Saturday activities include a geogache adventure in the morning at Wilson Shelter, and a 6 p.m. potluck dinner at 6 p.m. Prizes will be awarded, followed by night geocaching.

The event concludes Sunday with “Cache-in, Trash-out” at the nature center, where geocachers will do some light service projects for the park, including clearing net lanes for the upcoming owl banding season.
