Biologists to Host Wildlife Management Workshop Oct. 15 in Ranger, Texas

Ranger, TX – Texas Parks & Wildlife Department biologists in North Central Texas are offering a full day landowner workshop on October 15 at the Cook Canyon Ranch near Ranger, Texas.

Topics will include: wildlife management during a drought, management and restoration of Texas horned lizards and bobwhite quail, mountain lions, wildlife tax valuation, and more.

Attendees will have the opportunity to go afield for demonstrations in feral hog and predator trapping, plant identification, quail habitat assessment, and mechanical brush control.
